HOI Surgeons Publish 14 Peer Reviewed Manuscripts in 2024

Enhancing Their Reputation as a Nationally Recognized Academic Center of Excellence

During the 2023-2024 academic year, Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) surgeons have published 14 peer reviewed manuscripts in prominent medical journals, furthering research interests and providing academic expertise in the field of orthopedics.

“I am incredibly proud of our ‘privademic” model of care delivery at Hoag Orthopedic Institute,” shared Robert Gorab MD, one of the founding physicians of HOI, Tom & Mayumi Adams Endowed Chair in Orthopedic Surgery, and Program Chairman of the Hoag Orthopedics Joint Arthroplasty Fellowship program. “It has been the ultimate team effort. We founded HOI in 2010 with a focus on improving clinical outcomes as a nationally recognized center of excellence, advancing the science of musculoskeletal care through strong support of clinical research, and also investing in the training of future orthopedic surgeons through our fellowship programs,” added Dr. Gorab. “We continue to raise the bar for orthopedic care through our nationally recognized center of excellence at HOI, and it would not have happened without the strong support provided by Hoag Hospital and the Hoag Foundation.”
