Physician Biography
Dr. Recalde is a board-certified podiatric surgeon (podiatrist) and is
trained in rear foot and diabetic foot wound care. He received his Bachelors
Degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University. He received
his Doctorate in Podiatric medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
His post-graduate education continued with a 3-year surgical residency
at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, where he performed over 1,000 surgeries
with exposure to the most current techniques and education.
Dr. Recalde's Philosophy of Care:
Dr. Recalde believes in first correcting underlying structural problems
using conservative, non-surgical treatments. If surgery becomes necessary,
Dr. Recalde performs minimally invasive foot and ankle procedures at the
Hoag Orthopedic Institute Surgery Center - Newport Beach.
