Dr. Gregorius is a board certified member of the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgery, and a Fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Specialist Orthopaedic
Surgeon. He is also a Fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons and is an active member of California Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Gregorius earned his undergraduate degree in History and Philosophy
from Pacific Union College Suma Cum Laude while simultaneously completing
his premedical curriculum. As an undergraduate student he was recognized
with membership in the prestigious Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. He also
served as a student senator, senator pro tempore, and president of his
graduating class. Following graduation, Dr. Gregorius attended Loma Linda
University School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree.
After graduating from medical school Dr. Gregorius completed a year of
surgical training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Then he went
on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at the University of
Florida Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Institute at the University
of Florida in Gainesville Florida. Dr. Gregorius received orthopaedic
sports medicine experience while providing assistant team coverage to
University of Florida Athletics Department and team coverage to local
high school athletics throughout Alachua County.
Dr. Gregorius then matriculated to Stanford University/SOAR combined Sports
Medicine Fellowship in Palo Alto California. Under the direction of Dr.
Michael Dilligham and Dr. Gary Fanton he received sports-specific training
in Arthroscopic Surgery in the management of injuries to the Shoulder,
Elbow, Hip, and Knee. In addition to participation in an active surgical
fellowship training program, Dr. Gregorius provided assistant team coverage
to the San Francisco 49ers, Stanford Football, and SAP Open Tennis. During
this time he received tutelage on sideline team-specific injuries.
Following completion of his fellowship Dr. Gregorius went on to become
a faculty member at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Director
of the Orthopaedic Medical Student Program.
Dr. Gregorius currently provides team coverage to the University of California
Riverside Athletic Department and the Dodgers single-A affiliate Rancho
Cucamonga Quakes.
