Dr. Alan Beyer, Executive Medical Director of Hoag Orthopedic Institute has been back to work for a week since his hip replacement surgery. He’s back in the OR, this time as the surgeon. He’s still using a cane towards the end of the day because he’s on his feet regularly. He’s still taking aspirin for minor aches and he’s begun his out patient physical therapy.
