Meet 2026 Nurse of the Year

Hoag Orthopedic Institute is pleased to announce that our 2026 Nurse of the Year is JeongHwa Lee.

JeongHwa is the Supervisor for our Utilization Review Team and has been at HOI since 2015. She is an essential resource to HOI and exemplifies excellence, leadership, compassion, and dedication in every aspect of her work. Her peers consistently describe her as an outstanding team member who is always available to support and guide others. Whether troubleshooting complex cases or mentoring colleagues, JeongHwa’s commitment to her team is unwavering.

Her colleagues admire her positive attitude, solution-oriented mindset, and ability to foster a healthy and harmonious work environment. She thoughtfully considers each team member’s strengths and personalities, creating a culture where staff feel comfortable asking questions, learning, and growing together. She leads by example, motivating those around her to demonstrate the same level of excellence, professionalism, and compassion.
