Meet 2025 Nurse of the Year: Sarah Gagner
Hoag Orthopedic Institute’s 2025 Nurse of the Year, Sarah Gagner RN, is recognized for her professional and clinical excellence. She is passionate about providing quality care and has played pivotal roles as a Charge Nurse and now as our Inpatient Nurse Educator.
Sarah began her nursing career at Hoag Hospital in 2007. She helped open Hoag Orthopedic Institute in 2010 and became a Charge Nurse in 2013. With 18 years of experience, Sarah's contributions are invaluable to our team.
Sarah’s dedication and commitment as our Inpatient Nurse Educator has been truly exemplary. Her leadership, insight, and unwavering support have made a significant impact on both our team and patient care, elevating standards and fostering a nurturing environment for everyone she works with. Sarah is very active in our community. She has traveled on missions to other countries to provide healthcare to underserved communities.
