Course Highlighting Digital Health and Innovative Technologies in Hip and Knee Surgery

Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Orthopaedic Surgery will co-host Arthroplasty for the Modern Surgeon CME Conference, a premier arthroplasty course from September 26-27 at the Paséa Hotel & Spa in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The two-day dynamic program will bring together nationally and internationally recognized faculty to share the latest advances in digital health and innovative technologies in hip and knee replacement surgery.

Designed for both general orthopaedic surgeons and arthroplasty specialists, this highly interactive conference will feature didactic lectures, case-based discussions and small group breakout sessions, including six hands-on workshops.

"We are excited to be joining up with HOI to expand the impact of our previously successful annual Northern California meeting. We look forward to the inaugural event in Huntington Beach and the collaborative discussion amongst diverse faculty group from across the West Coast," said Jeffrey Barry, MD, Associate Professor of UCSF Orthopaedic Surgery and course co-chair.

“This course is built to engage surgeons in an interactive and practical way,” said Nader Nassif, MD, Division Chief of Joint Replacement at HOI and course co-chair. “Our goal is to provide attendees with the tools to refine care, improve surgical techniques and enhance patient outcomes.”

Additional faculty include leaders from UCSF, HOI, UCLA, USC, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center.
