HOI Only Hospital in OC to be Recognized Among Nation’s Cleanest Hospitals

Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI), one of the nation’s leading providers of orthopedic and spine care, has been recognized by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for excellence in hospital cleanliness, earning a prestigious 5-star rating in the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. It was the only Orange County hospital to achieve this rating.

Hospitals were evaluated through a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The surveys, which included a question regarding hospital cleanliness, were completed between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The data was most recently updated Jan. 8.
