About Hoag Orthopedic Institute

Founded in 2010, Hoag Orthopedic Institute was created through a partnership between Hoag Hospital and a group of premier orthopedic physicians with a shared vision: to deliver orthopedic and spine care with singular focus and exceptional outcomes. Designed as a specialty hospital, Hoag Orthopedic Institute quickly became a destination for musculoskeletal care on the West Coast.

Today, we are the largest provider of joint replacement surgery in the Western United States and the largest provider of spine care in Orange County. We are recognized nationally for both clinical quality and patient experience.
